The XVII International Exhibition and Scientific Conference on Telecommunications, Telemetry, Information Technology, and Broadcast Equipment “Türkmentel-2024” concluded today in Ashgabat. The forum provided a platform for local and international experts to exchange experiences, discuss mutually beneficial projects, and identify paths for their implementation.

As part of the forum, winners of the “Digital Solution – 2024” innovation competition were announced and awarded valuable prizes and diplomas. The competition aimed to foster youth policy, support additional education, enhance professional qualifications, promote digital education, and attract innovative solutions to the economy and other sectors. Participants included students and professionals from higher educational institutions, presenting numerous innovative projects.

At the awards ceremony, the competition was praised for its role in identifying and motivating young talent working on developing and implementing new software. It was emphasized that the results of “Digital Solution – 2024” align with the goals of the “Türkmentel-2024” forum. Winners were selected in various categories, including healthcare, science, education, electronics, transport, logistics, agriculture, and robotics.

Key highlights of the competition include:

  • Healthcare: Baýnazar Muhammedow, a student from the Turkmen Telecommunications and Informatics Institute, won first place with his program for PECS cards to facilitate communication for individuals with disabilities.
  • Artificial Intelligence: Shatlyk Shohradow from the Oguz Khan University of Engineering Technologies developed an AI-based diagnostic and rehabilitation program for seven diseases, earning him first place.
  • Robotics and Automation: Yazmuhammet Agamyradow from Oguz Khan University presented a new type of 3D printer for ceramics and construction, distinguishing himself in this category.
  • Smart Agriculture: Alyosh Amanov from the State Energy Institute of Turkmenistan won with his “Smart Boat” project, designed to collect plastic waste and operate digitally.
  • Smart City: School student Emir Şammaýew from School No. 140 won with a device that generates electricity from walking pressure.
  • Education and E-learning: Arslan Bäşimow from the National Institute of Security presented a photogrammetry-based project to study natural and historical monuments.
  • Services: Artur Bahtyýarow from School No. 129 in Ashgabat won with his social network and messenger project “Tick.”

The competition highlighted the ongoing digitalization efforts across all sectors of the national economy, aligning with the country’s modernization goals. Turkmenistan is actively creating conditions for youth to receive modern education and training to meet current demands.

The President of Turkmenistan consistently emphasizes the importance of developing a digital education system that meets national and international standards. The competition showcased the nation’s commitment to integrating scientific research into production and fostering innovation across industries.
