Uzbekistan’s Ministry of Defense and the International Institute of Central Asia (MICAA) have formalized their partnership with a Memorandum of Understanding. The agreement was signed by MICAA Director Javlon Vakhabov and representatives of the Ministry.

The collaboration aims to deepen the analysis of global political, socio-economic, and security trends, develop practical recommendations, and coordinate efforts to study international practices in ensuring national and military security. It also seeks to enhance Uzbekistan’s defense capabilities.

Key aspects of the memorandum include organizing national and international scientific conferences, facilitating expert exchanges on international relations, conducting professional development and retraining programs, and offering internships to specialists.

The agreement marks a step forward in fostering research-driven policymaking and strengthening national security frameworks through knowledge exchange and strategic cooperation.
