In Astana’s Presidential Center, the exhibition “We Are Not Alone” showcases the works of Kazakh artist Akzhan Ali and Austrian artist Gerald Florian Messner. This unique collaboration marks the start of the 2025 exhibition season and honors the 30th anniversary of the Assembly of the People of Kazakhstan, a symbol of unity and creativity.

Akzhan Ali, an Honorary Member of the Astana Artists’ Union, presents her fluid and abstract art, blending tradition and modernity. Her works have been exhibited in Kazakhstan, Austria, Germany, Japan, the Netherlands, and Morocco. Meanwhile, Gerald Florian Messner, a renowned Austrian artist, musician, and writer, brings his multidisciplinary approach, combining painting, literature, and music.

The exhibition, part of the “Dialogue Through Culture” project, features 25 works by Akzhan Ali and 27 pieces by Gerald Florian Messner. Their collaboration reflects a shared philosophy that art transcends boundaries, creating a universal language of expression.

Kazakhstan’s Deputy Director of the Presidential Center, Botagoz Kaipova, noted that the project strengthens cultural ties between Kazakhstan and Austria. Austrian Ambassador Andrea Bacher praised the exhibition as a meaningful start to her diplomatic mission, emphasizing the importance of cross-cultural exchange.

The exhibition will run until February 24, 2025, inviting visitors to explore the dialogue of cultures and the shared human experience through art.
