The Second Regional Forum of Turkmenistan and Uzbekistan and the National Exhibition of Uzbek Goods were inaugurated in Turkmenabat, Lebap Province, Turkmenistan. Representatives of ministries, regional administrations, public organizations, and media from both countries attended the event, alongside the Uzbek delegation.
The forum highlighted the growing importance of bilateral cooperation in areas such as economy, culture, science, and education. The exhibition showcased Uzbek products, including goods from the mining, oil and gas, textile, chemical, and food industries.
Discussions during the forum focused on enhancing business ties, establishing joint ventures, adopting innovative technologies, and expanding cultural collaboration. Special emphasis was placed on strengthening trade and economic partnerships as well as cultural and humanitarian exchanges.
Roundtable discussions addressed themes such as “Developing Trade Cooperation: Creating Favorable Conditions and Supporting Entrepreneurship” and “Cultural and Humanitarian Cooperation.” The forum also included a joint concert by artists from Turkmenistan and Uzbekistan.
