Today in Ashgabat, leaders of the Turkmen State Concern «Türkmengaz» met with a delegation led by Abdulvahid Fidani, General Director of the Turkish company «BOTAŞ». The discussions centered on enhancing cooperation in the gas industry.

Under the leadership of President Serdar Berdimuhamedov, Turkmenistan is successfully implementing initiatives of National Leader Hero-Arkadag to diversify the fuel and energy sector. Increasing export potential and strengthening partnerships with international organizations and energy companies remain top priorities.

Collaboration with Turkey, a key economic partner, holds special significance. Agreements signed during National Leader Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov’s visit to Turkey in March, including the Declaration of Intent on Hydrocarbon Cooperation and a Memorandum of Understanding on Natural Gas Partnership, have laid the groundwork for deeper bilateral relations.

The meeting concluded with a mutual commitment to further strengthen the partnership for the benefit of the two nations.
