At the Mukamlar Palace of the Turkmen State Cultural Center, the State Symphony Orchestra, led by conductor Resul Gylyjow, performed iconic scores from Steven Spielberg’s films, including “E.T.,” “Jurassic Park,” “Schindler’s List,” “Terminal,” and “Star Wars.” The orchestra brought the thrilling scenes to life, capturing the audience’s emotions.
Audiences also enjoyed music by Turkmen composer Nury Halmämmedov from films like “Keçpelek,” “Serdar,” and “Aýgytly ädim,” evoking nostalgia among listeners. The concert ended with soloists Selbi Mülkamowa (violin) and Yusup Öwezow (clarinet) playing “Imperial March,” receiving enthusiastic applause.
Conductor Resul Gylyjow thanked the audience and announced a follow-up concert on November 9, in celebration of Rejep Rejebov’s 80th birthday.
