The Turkish National Intelligence Organization (MIT) has dismantled a cybercrime network involved in illegally obtaining and trading personal data for organizational purposes, security sources reported.

MIT’s operation revealed that the network utilized advanced technologies to carry out illegal data trade through foreign platforms, taking significant measures to conceal its activities.

Investigations uncovered ties between the suspects and international criminal networks, highlighting how sensitive information was exploited for financial profit and operations targeting Türkiye.

As part of the operation, three individuals with suspected links to terrorist organizations were apprehended. Authorities are continuing to probe the network’s broader connections and activities.
