The Turkic States Artificial Intelligence (AI) Forum is being organized on 9-10 October 2024 in Bishkek, with participation from over 200 officials, leading experts, and policymakers from the OTS Member States and around the world.

The event was officially opened by Deputy Chairman of the Cabinet of Ministers of the Kyrgyz Republic, Edil Baisalov, and OTS Secretary General Kubanychbek Omuraliev. The forum was hosted by Minister of Digital Development of the Kyrgyz Republic, Nuria Kutnaeva, and featured a keynote address by Selçuk Bayraktar, Chairman of the Board of Directors and CTO of Baykar Technology.

In his remarks, Secretary General Omuraliev emphasized the importance of international cooperation and highlighted the role of the OTS in facilitating collaborative projects in areas such as e-commerce, technoparks, digital infrastructure, and cybersecurity.

Ambassador Omuraliev also proposed the creation of a Turkic AI network, investments in AI education and skills development, and the establishment of platforms for joint research and innovation projects within the framework of the OTS.

The Forum features several panel discussions, including topics such as “The Role of Artificial Intelligence in Digital Transformation,” “AI Regulation and Public Service Delivery,” “Transforming Development with AI,” “Innovate and Invest in AI,” and “Infrastructure and AI.”
