The Turkic Investment Fund (TIF) has welcomed its newly appointed Chief Financial Officer, Betül Sarıkaya, at its headquarters in Levent. She was warmly received by TIF President Baghdad Amreyev and General Director Ramil A. Babayev.
Sarıkaya, an accomplished financial expert, brings over 19 years of experience in corporate finance, treasury, and risk management across the oil, gas, and energy sectors. A graduate of Middle East Technical University, she began her career at PwC, working in both the Houston and Türkiye offices, before earning an Executive MBA from Koç University in 2013.
Her distinguished career includes establishing the Internal Audit Department at SOCAR Türkiye and serving as Finance Director at STAR Refinery, where she played a key role in its operational success. In 2019, she became CFO overseeing major gas and electricity acquisitions, earning several awards, including the “Women Managing Money Award” and recognition as one of Türkiye’s top CFOs.
Sarıkaya is also a strong advocate for gender equality, promoting women’s initiatives in the workplace. The TIF team extended their congratulations and best wishes as she steps into her new role.
