President of the Turkic Investment Fund (TIF) Bagdat Amreyev met with Senior Executive Director of the Saudi Fund for Development (SFD), Sultan Al Marshad, on the sidelines of the Annual Meetings of the IMF and World Bank Group in Washington, D.C. Also attending were TIF Director General Ramil Babayev and SFD Deputy Executive Director Feisal Al Qahtani. The meeting fostered a constructive dialogue focused on future cooperation.

Amreyev outlined TIF’s strategic focus on building impactful partnerships and mobilizing resources in infrastructure, human capital, and technology to drive regional growth. Al Marshad expressed enthusiasm for potential joint initiatives, highlighting SFD’s extensive experience in project financing within TIF member states and their openness to co-financing opportunities.

TIF General Director Babayev discussed the fund’s commitment to a diversified investment portfolio, the growth of SMEs, and adherence to Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs). He emphasized TIF’s robust risk management strategies to address capital and liquidity challenges effectively. This meeting marks a promising start to collaboration, aligning both organizations with shared goals for regional development.
