The General Assembly of the Turkic Chambers of Commerce and Industry (TCCI) was held on December 26, 2024, in Baku, Azerbaijan. Secretary General of the Organization of Turkic States (OTS), Kubanychbek Omuraliev, opened the session, extending condolences for the recent plane crash near Aktau, Kazakhstan.

Discussions emphasized TCCI’s role in fostering economic collaboration and highlighted the outcomes of recent OTS initiatives, including digital economy projects and green finance programs. The Assembly elected new leadership, established committees for logistics and young entrepreneurs, and welcomed the Turkmenistan Chamber of Commerce as a new member.

Leadership transitioned from Türkiye to Azerbaijan, with Mammad Musayev, President of Azerbaijan’s National Confederation of Entrepreneurs, elected as TCCI President. Rifat Hisarcıklıoğlu, President of TOBB, was named Honorary President.
