In Bishkek, the capital of Kyrgyzstan, tulips have begun to bloom, signaling the arrival of spring and bringing vibrant colors to the cityscape. The blossoming flowers are delighting both residents and visitors alike with their wide range of hues.

According to the Bishkek City Hall, tulips can be seen in full bloom at various locations this year, including Oak Park, in front of the Philharmonic Hall, the “Theatrical” and “Physical Education” flower gardens, as well as Victory Park, Atatürk Park, and Karagach Grove.

What makes this year particularly special is the planting of 235,998 tulip bulbs imported directly from the Netherlands. Carefully selected for their quality and resilience, these tulips have added a striking visual element to Bishkek’s green spaces.

The blossoming of tulips is more than just a natural occurrence—it is also part of the city’s beautification effort, lifting spirits and enhancing the urban environment as the city embraces the new season with energy and color.
