The third and final meeting of the Central Asian Women’s Dialogue is ongoing today at the Ala-Archa State Residence in Bishkek under the chairmanship of Jamila Isayeva, Deputy Speaker of the Jogorku Kenesh.

The event gathers prominent women leaders, including Deputy Chairperson of Kazakhstan’s Mazhilis Daniya Yespayeva, Chairperson of the Committee on Science, Education, Culture, and Social Policy of Turkmenistan’s Mejlis Bahar Seyidova, Senator of Uzbekistan’s Senate Gulnara Marufova, First Deputy Chairperson of Tajikistan’s Committee on Women and Family Affairs Firuza Nurullozoda, and other parliamentarians, government representatives, international development partners, and stakeholders.

The final meeting of the Dialogue aims to create an inclusive platform for women innovators from Central Asia to connect with decision-makers, national investors, patenting bodies, and innovation-supporting agencies. Key goals include experience sharing on promoting innovation among women, developing a unified vision for identifying women innovators, and fostering favorable conditions for enhancing women’s innovation potential in the region.

Today’s agenda includes reviewing Kyrgyzstan’s chairmanship results, exchanging national practices to support women innovators in Central Asia, and holding a high-level plenary session focused on creating opportunities for women’s innovative growth in the region.
