From May 1 to 4, 2025, the Turkish Republic of Northern Cyprus (TRNC) will host TEKNOFEST KKTC 2025 under the auspices of President Ersin Tatar. Organized in collaboration with the Türkiye Technology Team Foundation (T3 Foundation) and the Turkish Ministry of Industry and Technology, the festival will take place at the former Ercan Airport.

According to the official announcement, participants in seven main and 14 sub-categories will compete for a total of 2.5 million TL in prizes and 3 million TL in financial support. TEKNOFEST KKTC 2025 is expected to introduce exciting new competitions to the tech world.

The festival will also feature air shows, VR tunnels, simulation zones, concerts, and special flight activities for students. With international participants attending, the event is seen as an opportunity to promote TRNC on a global platform.

TRNC President Ersin Tatar highlighted the event’s importance for national identity, youth motivation, and technological advancement. He expressed gratitude to Selçuk Bayraktar, CTO of Baykar and Chair of the T3 Foundation, for his support in bringing the event to TRNC.

More than 750 projects from Türkiye and other countries are expected to participate, along with 150 from within TRNC.
