The second meeting of the Parliamentary Cooperation Council between Kyrgyzstan’s Jogorku Kenesh and the Parliament of Kazakhstan was held today in Bishkek. Chair of Kyrgyzstan’s International Relations, Defense, and Security Committee Ulan Primov and Kazakhstan’s Chair of the International Relations Committee Aygul Kuspan emphasized the importance of strengthening trade and economic ties and discussed strategies for attracting investments.

Speakers included Jogorku Kenesh Budget and Economic Policy Committee Chair Daniyar Tolonov, Agricultural Policy Committee Chair Amankan Kenzhebayeva, and Social Policy Committee Chair Vinera Rayimbachayeva, among others. The discussions covered investment project implementation, economic cooperation prospects, and cultural, regional, and cross-border cooperation efforts. Participants agreed to hold the next meeting in Astana in 2025.
