The second day of the Turkic World Youth Forum began with a visit to the “Farabi HUB Center” at Al-Farabi Kazakh National University in Almaty. Participants explored the university’s scientific projects and social initiatives, gaining insights into its key contributions to the academic and social spheres.
Following the tour, attendees participated in the “Cultural and Spiritual Exhibition of Various Nations’ Representatives,” which highlighted shared Turkic motifs across different cultures. Delegates showcased traditional attire and cuisine, reflecting the vibrant cultural tapestry of the Turkic World.
The first session, titled “Meeting of Turkic World Youth,” was moderated by Al-Farabi University Rector Janseyit Tüymebayev and featured key speakers, including TÜRKSOY Secretary General Sultan Raev, Kazakhstan’s Deputy Minister of Science and Higher Education Darkhan Akhmed-Zaki, and TÜRKPA Secretary General Mehmet Süreyya Er. They shared their visions and projects for the youth of the Turkic World.
The day’s events included the inauguration of the “TÜRKSOY Media Education and Research Center” at Al-Farabi University’s Journalism Faculty. The center aims to train young journalists from Turkic countries and foster collaboration in the media sector.
In the second session, titled “Meeting of Young Diasporas,” speakers addressed issues such as maintaining cultural ties and future initiatives for Turkic diaspora youth. Moderated by TÜRKSOY Deputy Secretary General Sayit Yusuf, it included insights from various leaders and diaspora representatives, fostering an engaging dialogue.
