Kyrgyz President Sadyr Japarov will make a working visit to Tatarstan on October 23-24 to attend the XVI BRICS Summit. According to Muratbek Azymbakiev, head of the foreign policy department of the President’s administration, the summit will be held on October 24 in Kazan.

During the summit, key decisions are expected to be made on strengthening multilateralism in global relations, integrating new members into the bloc, and addressing pressing global issues. Leaders will focus on global economic stability, the reform of international organizations, and expanding economic cooperation among BRICS member states.

Discussions will also include current challenges in the global economy, the need for sustainable development, investment in green energy, and the strengthening of the digital economy. As BRICS expands with new members, the group will explore ways to increase its influence on the international stage and enhance cooperation in trade, finance, and innovation.

President Japarov is also expected to hold bilateral meetings with other world leaders during the summit, where he will discuss future opportunities for strengthening economic and political ties between Kyrgyzstan and BRICS countries.
