Kazakhstan’s Embassy in Bishkek hosted an official reception in honor of Republic Day, attended by Kyrgyz government officials, diplomatic missions, and various representatives from the business, academic, and cultural communities.
Ambassador Rapiyl Zhoshybayev expressed gratitude to Kyrgyz authorities and highlighted Kazakhstan’s commitment to a peaceful and balanced foreign policy. “Kazakh-Kyrgyz friendship is more than mutual political and economic interests; it’s a shared fate that binds our people,” Zhoshybayev stated, underscoring the historical and cultural ties that solidify this bond.
Kyrgyz State Secretary Suyunbek Kasmambetov emphasized the significance of cultural and intellectual cooperation, noting that over 100 joint events were organized in 2023. Deputy Rector of the Diplomatic Academy of Kyrgyzstan, Zaynedin Kurmanov, expressed that these strong ties are essential for the future. The evening concluded with a reception featuring traditional Kazakh dishes.
