The current level of Azerbaijan-Hungary relations, which are built on mutual trust and are enriched with new content day by day, is satisfactory. This sentiment was expressed by Azerbaijani President Ilham Aliyev in his congratulatory letter to Hungarian Prime Minister Viktor Orbán on Hungary’s national holiday.

In the letter, President Aliyev conveyed his best wishes on behalf of the Azerbaijani people, adding, “We place special importance on expanding our interstate relations, which have great potential in all areas, including the further deepening of our strategic partnership. The existence of mutual understanding at the highest level and active political dialogue has created favorable grounds and opportunities for this.”

President Aliyev expressed confidence that joint efforts to strengthen and develop Azerbaijan-Hungary friendship and strategic partnership will continue bilaterally and multilaterally, particularly within the framework of the Organization of Turkic States, for the benefit of both nations.
