President Kassym-Jomart Tokayev took part in the Republic Day concert titled “Қастерлі Отан – Қазақстан,” held at the Astana Opera theater. According to Kazinform, citing the Akorda press service, the event featured performances by renowned Kazakh artists and creative ensembles.

Earlier, President Tokayev issued several directives regarding the development and beautification of the capital. On October 25, Kazakhstan will celebrate Republic Day, a national holiday that was reintroduced into the calendar in 2022 after a 13-year hiatus. The history of this holiday is tied to the adoption of the Declaration of State Sovereignty of the Kazakh SSR on October 25, 1990, which marked the first step toward Kazakhstan’s official independence in 1991.
