Kazakhstan will host more than 1,500 cultural and historical events as part of the Nauryz celebrations. This was announced by the country’s Ministry of Culture and Information.

Among the planned events are a large-scale “Қамажай” flash mob in Astana, the “Nauryz-Arbat” art project in Akmola region featuring artisans, and the “Kimeshek Parade” in Kokshetau, where over a thousand women will participate. In Aktobe, a parade of traditional costumes titled “National Attire – The Face of the Nation” will take place.

To accommodate the increased demand for travel during the holiday, additional transportation options will be provided. There will be 43,000 extra train seats on routes between Astana, Almaty, Aktobe, and Shymkent. Kazakh airlines will add 120 extra flights, with 10 more scheduled specifically for the Nauryz day.
