The 16th Meeting of the Council of Elders of the Organization of Turkic States (OTS) was held on November 29, 2024, in Budapest, Hungary. Hosted by Hungary, this meeting marked another milestone in enhancing cooperation and solidarity among Turkic States.

During the meeting, the Council of Elders reviewed the implementation of initiatives launched at previous summits, emphasizing the OTS’s commitment to addressing pressing global and regional challenges. Progress on the recommendations from the 15th Meeting of the Council of Elders, held earlier in 2024 in Ashgabat, was also evaluated.

Updates on initiatives launched at the Bishkek Summit, held on November 6, 2024, under the theme “Empowering the Turkic World: Economic Integration, Sustainable Development, Digital Future, and Security for All,” were shared during the discussions.

The Council expressed gratitude to Hungary for hosting this significant event and highlighted the active role of Observer States in supporting the organization’s goals and objectives.
