Hungarian Prime Minister Viktor Orbán took the stage at the “Patriots for Europe” summit in Madrid, where he addressed the future of Europe. Beginning his speech by addressing Santiago Abascal, the leader of Spain’s VOX party, Orbán emphasized the growing strength of nationalist movements across Europe.
He highlighted the historical connections between Hungary and Spain, stating that both nations had faced common external threats. “You fought in the West, we fought in the East against the same invading forces. Today, we must show the same solidarity,” he declared.
A key part of his speech was a strong critique of Brussels and its immigration policies. Orbán accused globalist elites of deliberately changing Europe’s demographics. “What we are witnessing is not a coincidence but a carefully planned strategy,” he asserted.
He also underlined Hungary’s strict border policies, ensuring that illegal migrants do not enter the country. “Hungary does not allow illegal immigration. We protect our families and identity,” he said.
Addressing the political shifts worldwide, Orbán expressed his support for Donald Trump’s return to politics. “Yesterday, they called us radicals, today we are the mainstream. The globalists are losing, and the patriots are winning,” he declared.
In closing, Orbán voiced his strong support for Santiago Abascal and VOX, stating, “It is time for change in Spain as well. You can make it happen.”
