According to the calculations by “APA-Economics” based on the State Statistics Committee’s report, 1,532 new jobs were created in Azerbaijan’s liberated regions during January-September 2024. This represents a 55% rise compared to the 989 jobs created during the same period in 2023.
The regions of Lachin and Shusha saw the most significant developments, with 409 and 324 new jobs created, respectively, during the reporting period.
In addition, 246 new enterprises and organizations, as well as 2,779 individual entrepreneurial entities, were registered in the liberated territories during the same period. The number of newly established enterprises and organizations has increased by 2.4 times, while individual entrepreneurial entities have risen by 55.9% compared to the previous year.
