The National Bank of Kazakhstan has introduced a new series of collectible coins that highlight the country’s rich natural, cultural, and mythological heritage. These coins belong to three major series: “Flora and Fauna of Kazakhstan,” “Kazakh Traditions and Games,” and “Worldview Ideas.”

About AQ TUŃǴIYQ Coins
AQ TUŃǴIYQ (White Water Lily) is a rare flower included in Kazakhstan’s Red Book. The coin features innovative technology using transparent enamel to create the effect of a water surface with a sandy bottom and stones.

Coins are available in two formats:

  • Silver 925, weighing 100 grams, 50 mm diameter, face value 1000 tenge, limited to 500 pieces.
  • Cupronickel alloy, weighing 15 grams, 33 mm diameter, face value 500 tenge, limited to 5000 pieces.

About ERÝLIK Coins
ERÝLIK coins celebrate the Kazakh tradition of hospitality and unity. Their intricate design symbolizes generosity and communal support.

Coins are available in three formats:

  • Silver 925 with an iridescent finish, weighing 24 grams, 37 mm diameter, face value 1000 tenge, limited to 1000 pieces.
  • Cupronickel alloy, weighing 15 grams, 33 mm diameter, face value 200 tenge, limited to 10,000 pieces.
  • Nickel-silver alloy, weighing 11.17 grams, 31 mm diameter, face value 200 tenge, limited to 100,000 pieces.

About ÙNDILIK TANYM Coins
ÙNDILIK TANYM is part of the “Worldview Ideas” series and reflects ancient cosmological myths. The design features a turtle standing on elephants, a representation of universal stability in Indian cosmology.

This coin is made of Silver 925 with a tantalum insert, weighs 162.2 grams, has a diameter of 50 mm, face value 2000 tenge, and is limited to 500 pieces.

All coins are legal tender in Kazakhstan at their nominal value.
