A collective monograph titled “A Just Kazakhstan and the Chinese Dream: Analyzing Opportunities for Modern Development Strategies” was presented in Beijing. The publication was prepared by experts from Kazakhstan and China, offering an in-depth analysis of their bilateral cooperation.

In his opening remarks, Serik Seidumanov, Director of the Institute of Philosophy, Political Science, and Religious Studies under Kazakhstan’s Ministry of Science and Education, emphasized that the monograph provides an objective perspective on the partnership between the two nations. He highlighted their collaboration in international organizations such as the SCO, CICA, and the “Central Asia-China” format.

The book includes articles from over 30 prominent experts and academics, addressing various aspects of bilateral relations, from trade to cultural exchange and tourism.

The presentation was attended by Kazakhstan’s Ambassador to China Shakhrat Nuryshev, Chinese Assistant Minister of Foreign Affairs Liu Bin, and former Chinese ambassadors to Kazakhstan, alongside leading scholars from both countries.

In 2019, Kazakhstan and China elevated their relations to a comprehensive strategic partnership. By the end of 2023, a visa-free regime was introduced, and 2024 was declared the “Year of Kazakhstan Tourism in China.” According to China’s General Customs Administration, bilateral trade exceeded $40 billion in the first 11 months of 2024, reflecting an 8.7% increase.
