Today, a delegation comprising representatives from the Organization of Turkic States and several allied nations visited the Turkic Academy. The delegation included Azerbaijan’s Minister of Culture Adil Kerimli, Secretary General of the Organization of Turkic States Kubanychbek Omuraliev, Deputy Minister of Culture of the Kyrgyz Republic Gulbara Abdykalikova, Adviser to the Minister of Culture of Uzbekistan Shavkatjon Ortykov, as well as representatives from the Ministries of Foreign Affairs of Kazakhstan and Türkiye, Asan Mazhitov and Hatice Özge Pan.
President of the Turkic Academy Shahin Mustafayev welcomed the distinguished guests and provided insights into the institution’s ongoing work. The delegation toured the Academy’s museum and reviewed its latest scientific publications. The meeting covered key research areas, ongoing studies, and upcoming projects.
Azerbaijan’s Minister of Culture Adil Kerimli highlighted Azerbaijan’s strong collaboration with the Turkic Academy, particularly in cultural and scientific projects. He emphasized the Academy’s crucial role in studying and promoting the rich heritage of Turkic nations.
Secretary General of the Organization of Turkic States Kubanychbek Omuraliev stated that culture is not just about art but also history, language, and traditions that bind Turkic peoples together. He underscored the Academy’s importance in fostering deeper scientific and cultural ties among Turkic states.
The meeting concluded with a shared commitment to strengthening cooperation across the broader Turkic world.
