Bishkek, December 9, 2024. Kyrgyzstan is set to organize a large-scale trade mission to Turkey and neighboring countries in the first half of 2025. The initiative aims to strengthen economic ties and introduce Kyrgyz goods to new markets.

According to the Ministry of Economy and Commerce, a virtual meeting was held on December 5 between Kyrgyzstan’s Trade Representation in Turkey and “Кыргызэкспорт.” Key discussion points included:

  • increasing exports of Kyrgyz products to Turkey;
  • removing existing trade barriers;
  • attracting advanced Turkish technologies to Kyrgyzstan;
  • investments in export-oriented companies;
  • expanding bilateral cooperation.

The meeting concluded with plans to host an exhibition of Kyrgyz products as part of the trade mission. “Кыргызэкспорт” will manage the collection and delivery of goods, while the Trade Representation will establish a platform for showcasing products in international markets.

Both sides expressed their commitment to deepening economic collaboration.
