Speaking at the 16th BRICS Summit in Kazan, Kazakh President Kassym-Jomart Tokayev noted that BRICS has become a global center of attraction, drawing interest from many nations seeking partnerships. “BRICS has both the resources and experience to build a future based on shared prosperity, mutual respect, and partnership,” Tokayev said, adding that Kazakhstan values its close ties with all BRICS member states.

The summit, held from October 22 to 24 in Kazan, brought together leaders from various nations, including Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi, South African President Cyril Ramaphosa, Ethiopian Prime Minister Abiy Ahmed, Egyptian President Abdel Fattah el-Sisi, Chinese President Xi Jinping, and Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan.
