President Kassym-Jomart Tokayev held a meeting at Akorda with Vitaliy Nesis, CEO of Solidcore Resources plc, where he was briefed on the company’s ongoing activities in exploring, mining, and processing precious and non-ferrous metals in Kazakhstan. During the meeting, Nesis informed the President about the construction of the “Ertis GMC” hydrometallurgical complex in Pavlodar, with a planned production capacity of 300,000 tons of concentrate per year and a target for producing Dore alloy with up to 98% gold purity.
Nesis also presented plans for constructing a geological laboratory in Karaganda. President Tokayev acknowledged the importance of these initiatives, particularly regarding the company’s efforts to train skilled engineers for Kazakhstan’s industrial sector.
