On March 11, 2025, a meeting took place at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Turkmenistan between the Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs of Turkmenistan, Akhmet Gurbano, and the Deputy Secretary of the Communist Party of China’s Shaanxi Province, Xin Shanping. The meeting focused on the dynamic development of Turkmen-Chinese relations, which continue to expand under the framework of comprehensive strategic partnership.

The parties discussed key areas of cooperation of mutual interest. Emphasis was placed on the high level of trust and friendship between the two countries, which creates favorable conditions for further strengthening bilateral ties. Notably, active contacts between parliaments and political parties are developing, with regular visits of political party representatives from both countries.

The discussions also highlighted the central role of trade and economic relations in strengthening dialogue between the countries. In the cultural and humanitarian sphere, effective cooperation has been established in areas such as science, education, and cultural exchanges, including the study of the Chinese language. Mutual Cultural Days are playing a key role in enhancing humanitarian ties and enriching bilateral cooperation.
