The historic city of Bukhara, a UNESCO World Heritage Site, will host a series of events from November 27 to 29, 2024, under the auspices of the Organization of Turkic States (OTS). These events will highlight the shared cultural and historical values of Turkic nations while fostering collaboration in tourism development.
Key events include a conference on “Tabarruk Ziyarat,” focusing on the preservation and promotion of sacred destinations, and a meeting of Turkic Tourism Agencies to discuss strategies for regional tourism growth. Additionally, a workshop on the legacy of Alp Er Tunga will explore his historical significance and shared place in Turkic heritage.
The initiatives reflect the OTS’s dedication to promoting unity and cooperation among Turkic nations. Hosting the events in Bukhara, a historical center of Turkic civilization, emphasizes its importance in linking the cultural past with the aspirations of the Turkic world’s future.
