A letter sent by Azerbaijan’s Permanent Representative to the United Nations, Tofiq Musayev, addressed to UN Secretary-General António Guterres, has been officially circulated as a document of both the UN General Assembly and Security Council.

According to a statement from Azerbaijan’s Permanent Mission to the UN, the letter underscores the need for lasting peace and stability in the region, emphasizing that this depends on Armenia fulfilling its international obligations.

The letter stresses that peace requires Armenia to fully and unconditionally abandon any territorial claims, compensate Azerbaijan for damages resulting from aggression and occupation, and refrain from disinformation and actions that obstruct normalization of interstate relations.
