In a congratulatory letter to Kazakhstan’s President Kassym-Jomart Tokayev on the occasion of Republic Day, Azerbaijani President Ilham Aliyev reaffirmed Azerbaijan’s commitment to deepening relations with Kazakhstan across multiple sectors, including economic, transportation, energy, and digital infrastructure. He emphasized Azerbaijan’s interest in joint projects with Kazakhstan and highlighted the benefits of expanding these collaborations.

President Aliyev conveyed his best wishes on behalf of the Azerbaijani people, stating, “Your firm policies and comprehensive reforms aimed at Kazakhstan’s development have brought significant achievements and raised the country’s international standing. Each time I visit Kazakhstan, I take pride in witnessing its transformation into a prosperous, modern nation.”

Aliyev noted that the shared cultural and historical roots between Azerbaijan and Kazakhstan lay the foundation for the growing partnership between the two countries. He commended the progress made through mutual visits, high-level exchanges, and agreements across various fields. Referring to President Tokayev’s state visit to Azerbaijan in March, Aliyev highlighted it as a significant step in expanding their multi-dimensional cooperation. He expressed confidence that the partnership between Azerbaijan and Kazakhstan would continue to grow, benefiting both nations and enhancing regional prosperity.
