Azerbaijan is solidifying its position in the global economy and becoming a key player in energy security, according to Economy Minister Mikayil Jabbarov. Speaking at a plenary session of the Milli Majlis (Azerbaijani Parliament) during discussions on the draft law “On the State Budget of the Republic of Azerbaijan for 2025,” Jabbarov noted Azerbaijan’s reliability as a partner in the energy sector.

“Our country has significantly strengthened its economic presence internationally and has become a reliable partner in ensuring energy security,” Jabbarov said. “Azerbaijani gas will be exported to 12 European countries.”

The statement underscores Azerbaijan’s strategic role in addressing Europe’s energy needs, with Azerbaijani gas increasingly contributing to diversifying energy supplies across the continent.
