The Azerbaijani Embassy in the United Kingdom hosted a special Azerbaijan-Türkiye Brotherhood Night in London ahead of the November 8 Victory Day. Türkiye’s Ambassador to the UK, Osman Koray Ertaş, embassy staff, members of the Azerbaijani and Turkish communities, Turkish Republic of Northern Cyprus representative Çimen Keskin, and British MP Nesil Çalışkan attended as honored guests. Azerbaijani Ambassador to the UK Elin Süleymanov congratulated citizens on the approaching Victory Day and emphasized the significance of this victory, noting that the main architect was Supreme Commander Ilham Aliyev and the Azerbaijani people. Ambassador Süleymanov also congratulated the Turkish community on Republic Day, highlighting the deep fraternal ties between Azerbaijan and Türkiye.
Türkiye’s Ambassador to the UK, Osman Koray Ertaş, expressed his gratitude to the Azerbaijani Embassy for organizing the event and congratulated the Azerbaijani community on Victory Day. Emphasizing the enduring ties between the Azerbaijani and Turkish people, Ertaş wished for the longevity of this brotherhood. The event continued with a concert by Azerbaijani pianist and composer Turan Manafzade, who performed pieces such as “Khojaly,” “Çanakkale,” “Nazende Sevgilim,” and “Çırpınırdı Karadeniz.” Manafzade concluded the concert with the “Karabakh March” and “Türkiye 100,” a composition celebrating the Turkish Republic’s centennial.
