Kyrgyzstan’s national women’s wrestling team member, Ayperi Medet Kyzy, has achieved a remarkable victory at the Asian Wrestling Championship held in Amman, Jordan. Competing in the 76 kg category, Ayperi showcased outstanding performance, claiming the gold medal.
Her journey to victory began in the quarterfinals, where she secured a decisive win against a wrestler from China. In the semifinals, she displayed great skill and determination, defeating her North Korean opponent. The final match was a thrilling battle against a strong Indian wrestler. In a tense showdown, Ayperi emerged victorious with a 7:6 score, securing the Asian Champion title.
The Kyrgyz Ministry of Sports congratulated Ayperi Medet Kyzy on her incredible achievement, highlighting her dedication and contribution to the country’s growing wrestling scene.
