President of Kazakhstan Kassym-Jomart Tokayev met with the Chairman of the Cabinet of Ministers and Head of the Presidential Administration of Kyrgyzstan, Adylbek Kasymaliyev, to discuss the enhancement of strategic cooperation between the two countries.

During the meeting, both leaders emphasized the expansion of trade volume, improvement of logistics processes, and the rapid implementation of a new industrial trade and logistics complex on the Kazakhstan-Kyrgyzstan border. This project aims to enhance economic integration and streamline trade operations between the two nations.

Congratulating Kasymaliyev on his appointment, President Tokayev highlighted the significance of this visit in strengthening friendly ties between Kazakhstan and Kyrgyzstan. He also recalled that Kyrgyz President Sadyr Japarov’s official visit to Kazakhstan last year provided a strong impetus to bilateral relations.

In response, Kasymaliyev expressed gratitude for Kazakhstan’s warm hospitality and reaffirmed Kyrgyzstan’s commitment to strengthening its friendly and neighborly relations with Kazakhstan. He assured that all agreements reached at the highest level would be meticulously implemented.

Additionally, discussions included joint investment projects and cooperation in water and energy resources. The new industrial and logistics hub at the Kazakhstan-Kyrgyzstan border is expected to become a key step toward regional economic integration in Central Asia.
