A concert titled “Salute to the Flag of the Turk” was held in Ankara, hosted by the International Organization of Turkic Culture (TURKSOY), the Embassy of the Republic of Azerbaijan in Ankara, and the Ahmed Cavad Institute. The event at ATO Congresium was organized under the auspices of TURKSOY Secretary-General Sultan Raev, Azerbaijan’s Ambassador to Ankara Reshad Mammadov, and the head of the Ahmed Cavad Institute, Turkologist Prof. Dr. Ruhi Ersoy, with participation from National Defense Minister Yaşar Güler, Minister of Education Yusuf Tekin, and Health Minister Kemal Memişoğlu.

TURKSOY Secretary-General Sultan Raev, in his speech dedicated to the “Azerbaijan Victory Day on November 8,” said,

“The liberation of Karabakh symbolizes our bond of brotherhood. This victory is a symbol of a revival uniting our hearts from Selenge to the Balkans,” underscoring the concert’s aim of celebrating the shared values of Turkic nations.

Defense Minister Yaşar Güler noted that the victory presented a historic opportunity for lasting peace between Azerbaijan and Armenia, stressing the Caucasus’ need for friendship and cooperation. Güler highlighted the importance of Turkey and Azerbaijan’s bond for both bilateral relations and regional stability.

Azerbaijan’s Ambassador Reshad Mammadov expressed joy in celebrating the fourth anniversary of Shusha’s liberation with the participation of all Turkic states in Turkey, describing the victory as a milestone for the entire Turkic world.

Ahmed Cavad Institute President and Dr. Devlet Bahçeli’s Chief Advisor, Turkologist Prof. Dr. Ruhi Ersoy, stated:

“Our esteemed General Chairman Dr. Devlet Bahçeli established the Ahmed Cavad Institute within our party to build bridges in the Turkic world and to promote cultural and academic work that will carry the deep-rooted relations between Azerbaijan and Turkey into a strong future.”

The concert featured performances by artists from the Presidential Symphony Orchestra, Ankara State Opera and Ballet Orchestra, TRT Ankara Radio Choir, and various performers from Azerbaijan, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Uzbekistan, and Turkey.
