President of Kyrgyzstan Sadyr Japarov signed the Law on the Ratification of the “Agreement on a Harmonized System for Determining the Origin of Goods Exported from the Customs Territory of the Eurasian Economic Union.” The law was adopted by the Jogorku Kenesh on October 9, 2024.

The Agreement aims to ensure unified approaches for determining, certifying, and confirming the origin of goods exported from the EAEU, transitioning to a paperless system, and establishing a legal basis for the “Authorized Exporter” system within the Union.

Additionally, the Eurasian Economic Commission has been granted authority to adopt Special Rules on determining the origin of goods for customs control purposes.
