İbrahim Uzunca, a Turkish coach, will lead the newly formed “Xankəndi” football club, which is set to participate in the AFFA Regional League. This information was shared by the club’s Executive Director, Vasif Ismayilov, in an interview with “Report.”

Ismayilov mentioned that the team is preparing seriously for the 2024/2025 season:

“We have reached an agreement on many aspects with the coach. Once the minor details are settled, his appointment will be made official. I have previously worked with İbrahim Uzunca in the ‘Füzuli’ team. We have brought in players from Azerbaijan’s minifootball national team, and we have also recruited Kamil Nəzərli, a graduate of the ‘Gabala’ academy. Our goal is to finish the competition as champions and secure a place in the Second Division.”

It is noted that the 2024/2025 season of the AFFA Regional League is expected to start in October.
