On 30 May 2025, in Astana, H.E. Ambassador Kubanychbek Omuraliev, Secretary General of the Organization of Turkic States (OTS), met with H.E. Mr. Olzhas Bektenov, Prime Minister of the Republic of Kazakhstan. The meeting focused on strengthening cooperation between the OTS and Kazakhstan and promoting deeper regional integrationacross the Turkic World.

Ambassador Omuraliev thanked the Kazakh side for inviting him to the Astana International Forum, which he described as a key platform for regional dialogue. He emphasized the growing importance of coordinated policies and shared initiatives among member states.

Highlighting the upcoming First Meeting of the Heads of Government of OTS Member States, Ambassador Omuraliev noted that this format would foster high-level coordination in economic development and joint regional projects.

The two leaders also reviewed preparations for several major OTS-related events to be hosted in Kazakhstan, ensuring the active participation of national institutions in their success.
