The Atatürk Research Center under the Atatürk High Institution of Culture, Language, and History has launched the Digital Turkic World Encyclopedia. This project aims to document the shared memory of the Turkic world and strengthen cultural ties among Turkic communities.
Available online as of December 31, 2024, the encyclopedia covers various topics, including states established in Turkic geographies, prominent historical figures, and cultural and civilizational achievements. The encyclopedia comprises nine main categories: “Turkic States,” “Statesmen,” “History and Culture,” “Turkic Communities,” “Language and Literature,” “Geography and Places,” “Science and Art,” “Pioneering Women in the Turkic World,” and “Intellectuals and Thinkers.”
With content in Azerbaijani Turkish and Turkey Turkish, the encyclopedia offers a regularly updated digital platform for easy access and expanding resources. You can access the encyclopedia here.
