On April 24, 2025, the 3rd Ministerial Conference of the Almaty Process was held in Baku, bringing together key stakeholders to address the growing challenges of irregular migration in the region. The conference was hosted by Vusal Huseynov, Chief of the State Migration Service of Azerbaijan, and welcomed the participation of Kubanychbek Omuraliev, Secretary General of the Organization of Turkic States.

Secretary General Omuraliev underscored the importance of regional solidarity and collaboration in tackling irregular migration. He highlighted the role of the Organization of Turkic States in promoting shared solutions and encouraged further exchange of good practices among Member and Observer States.

The conference concluded with the endorsement of the Baku Declaration, a joint commitment to strengthen cooperative efforts in migration governance across the region.
